Course Prerequisites: 

To qualify for the attendance of this course, one must be a licensed provider or a student in the following disciplines: DC, DPT, PT, PTA, ATC, LMT, OT, OTA, PA-C, DO, and MD.

Manual therapy must be in the scope of practice in your licensed profession OR you must be a student of one of the professions listed above.

These courses focus on a lot of information and we have introduced courses for upper and lower body so we can cover all the information we would like to get through while still moving at a quick pace.

First and foremost courses are designed to be as hands-on as possible

Level 2M Lower Body IASTM Certification Course

Key Objectives:

  • Current concepts of soft tissue damage, myofascial adhesions, pain pathways, kinetic chains, pressure generated pathophysiology
  • Indications and contraindications of IASTM
  • Utilizing pain responses as a tool
  • IASTM instrument technique concepts
  • IASTM patient static and kinetic technique concepts
  • Deep vs. Superficial edge indications 
  • Hands-on learning and demonstration
